On the eve of Napoli-Juventus, scheduled for Sunday, 3 March at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Coach Massimiliano Allegri pre-viewed the match in his usual pre-match press conference.
THE MATCH
"Juventus hasn't won in Naples for five years, so it won't be easy. It's a complex match, they're a technically sound team and it's unusual to see them in their current position in the standings. Matches in Naples are always challenging, we have to limit their best qualities and try to be proactive when we have the ball. They recently won a difficult match against Sassuolo, and with the return of Victor Osimhen, they have regained a great player. This year they have had problems, but the value of their players does not change.
TEAM NEWS
"Federico Chiesa trained on his own for one day, tomorrow he will be available, as well as Danilo who, however, has only completed one training session with the team. Moise Kean and Mattia Perin should return next week, while we still have to evaluate Adrien Rabiot and Weston McKennie, who are doing their utmost to return as soon as possible. "We went through a difficult period, February was not a good month for us. We have to make March better than the past month, with Frosinone we conceded two avoidable goals and we have to do better as a team defensively. Now begins the most beautiful period of the season, but also the most complicated, we must remain focused and know that scoring points is now more difficult. Last year we finished third, this year if we finish second it would be a good result. We are 13 points away from Champions League qualification, because in my opinion, 70 points would qualify us, and we know that being there will be of technical and economic value for the club. As for the Club World Cup, we depend on the results of other teams."
