Juventus first hosted Cremonese exactly 100 years ago, in 1923. Ten games have been played in the league and the Bianconeri have won them all.
The stand-out fixture must be that in season 1994/95, decided by a player born in Cremona, Gianluca Vialli. And the goal was memorable - a splendid bicycle kick.
FIVE-STAR DISPLAY
The first post-war appointment between the two teams arrived only in 1985 after Cremonese had been out of the top flight for decades. The Juve number 9 was Paolo Rossi, brought down inside the area by the visiting defence. Michel Platini slotted home the penalty kick.
The Lady was in free-scoring form, running out 5-1 winners, still the best result at home against the side from Lombardy.
CONNECT FOUR
The Bianconeri also overwhelmed Cremonese on the Grigiorossi's last ever visit to the Comunale, in 1990. In just 26 minutes Nicolò Napoli, Totò Schillaci and Angelo Alessio had put Juve three goals to the good.
The fourth came shortly after the hour mark and was scored by the player in the photo, Pierluigi Casiraghi.
SERIE A START
The 1990 meeting was extra-special for one player in particular. Adriano Bonaiuti played one match for Juventus and it was against Cremonese.
The undisputed number 1 in goal at the time was Stefano Tacconi. However, Tacconi's back-up was given space that Sunday and it was an important afternoon: a Serie A debut at the age of 22, which concluded with him keeping a clean sheet.
OLD FRIENDS
Luciano Bodini arrived at Juve in 1979 from Atalanta. The shotstopper had come through the Bergamo club's academy before being loaned out to Cremonese, where he stayed for three years. At the Bianconeri, he also became understudy to Tacconi.
In 1985, in a period when Giovanni Trapattoni promoted him to first-choice goalkeeper, he took to the field against his former team three days before the important 3-0 victory over Sparta Prague in the European Cup.
