Starting and ending the month with a goal – that’s how Adrien Rabiot saw out the last month of 2023 as our Frenchman enjoyed a dominant December, contributing not only goals, but leadership, resilience, tenacity and commitment.
Injured for the draw against Genoa, the Frenchman played the full 90 minutes in all four victories earned last month, netting the opener in our late win over Monza on December 1st – a game in which he wore the armband as well – and slotting home the winner against Roma on December 30th to ensure the Bianconeri ended 2023 on a high.
Coupled with being the highest-scoring midfielder in Serie A over the past two seasons, and scoring his personal-high tally of nine goals in a calendar year to see out 2023, the Frenchman’s fine displays saw him voted EA Sports FC December Player of the Month, as voted for by fans on Juventus.co.
Our number 25 will receive his trophy from a Juventus Member before kick-off in Tuesday's Serie A encounter against Sassuolo, scheduled for 20:45 CET at the Allianz Stadium.
