Fashion, photography and football.
During Milan Fashion Week in September 2022 photographer Giampaolo Sgura created a unique event: a monographic exhibition in which his most important works were displayed side by side with portraits of the Juventus players Nicolò Fagioli, Paul Pogba and Dušan Vlahović.
What emerged was a suggestive connection between apparently distant worlds, which in reality were not so very different. After a few months this conceptual path has become the subject of the new Juventus Creator Lab original production, "Giampaolo Sgura Black & White".
The documentary, available from March 31 exclusively on the Juventus YouTube channel, goes behind the scenes of the exhibition in Milan, illustrating the artist's creative processes and the relationship with his subjects during the shoot. In other words, how Sgura managed to capture the spirit and soul of personalities like Fagioli, Pogba and Vlahović.
A story in line with the objectives of Juventus Creator Lab, the club’s digital laboratory established to define a new approach to creativity and the production of club content, which has made innovation and contamination two of its cornerstones - concepts enhanced by the the Sgura photography exhibition and the documentary that has emerged from it.
