So much can happen in the space of 12 months, especially if you are one of the bright young stars emerging through the ranks of the Next Gen.
That is exactly the case with Enzo Barrenechea, who turns 22 today.
The Argentine midfielder, currently sidelined with a tendon injury, has had a year to remember with cameo appearances in the Champions League, against Paris Saint Germain in early November - his debut with the First Team - and the Europa League, against Freiburg in mid-March.
What's more, Barrenechea has made three starts in Serie A. His first appearance from the opening whistle in the top flight arrived in the 4-2 success in the Derby della Mole in February. A debut to cherish.
