The international break has arrived for Juventus Women on the back of two consecutive victories in Serie A's inaugural Scudetto phase against Inter and Milan. Now league duty is put on pause to make room for the commitments of the national teams and as always there are many Bianconere called up.
ITALY
Nine players have been called up by the Azzurre. Lisa Boattin, Barbara Bonansea, Sofia Cantore, Arianna Caruso, Valentina Cernoia, Sara Gama, Cristiana Girelli, Martina Lenzini and Cecilia Salvai will be present at the "Tre Fontane" stadium in Rome for their only match, a friendly against Colombia. It will be the last test match in preparation for the World Cup to be held this summer from 20 July to 20 August in Australia and New Zealand. The match is scheduled for Tuesday 11 April.
FRANCE
Pauline Peyraud-Magnin has been included in the France squad for two international friendlies against opponents that will participate in the next World Cup. The first of these is scheduled for Friday 7 April against Colombia in Clermont-Ferrand, the second will be played on Tuesday 11 April in Le Mans against Julia Grosso's Canada.
SWEDEN
There are two Scandinavian derbies awaiting Sweden's Linda Sembrant, the first on Friday 7 April in Malmö against Denmark, the second in Gothenburg on Tuesday 11 April against Norway. Again two useful warm-up matches ahead of the World Cup.
NETHERLANDS
Germany and Poland will be the two sides Lineth Beerensteyn's Netherlands will face in the two friendlies scheduled in Sittard then Rotterdam on Friday 7 April and Tuesday 11 April.
CANADA
Only one match scheduled for Julia Grosso and her Canada, the Juventus derby against Peyraud-Magnin's France.
UNDER 23
ITALY
Two matches for Roberta Aprile with the Italy Under 23 team, versus Netherlands on Thursday 6 April and Norway on Monday April 10. Both matches will be played at Coverciano.
SWEDEN
Paulina Nyström, Evelina Duljan and Amanda Nildén instead are involved in Sweden Under 23's two friendlies ,against Spain and Portugal respectively on Thursday 6 and Monday 10 April.
UNDER 19
ITALY
Call ups for Italy Under 19 for Eva Schatzer and Elisa Pfattner. After three days' training with the full Italy squad, Eva will join her Under 19 teammates. The Azzurrine face three qualifiers for the next European Championships, all in Novara, against Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria on Wednesday 5 April, Saturday 8 April and Tuesday 11 April respectively.
