Tuesday 26th March 2024 was another great day for the Bianconeri players involved with their national teams.
SUPER TEK: POLAND FLY TO EURO 2024!
The last team to qualify for the next European Championship, which will be held in Germany this summer, is Szczesny's Poland, and it was our very own Tek who was the star of the show against Wales in Cardiff on Tuesday evening.
The Polish national team, playing away in one of the three play-off finals, managed to keep a clean sheet for the entire match - including extra time - thanks in part to a great save by Szczesny from Wilson, and took the game to penalties. The two teams were perfect from the spot up until the ninth penalty, but on the decisive penalty, James was hypnotized by Tek, who became the hero of the evening.
DOUBLE FOR SAM WITH ENGLAND UNDER-21
It was also an extremely positive evening for Iling-Junior, who scored a brace for England Under-21 in the 7-0 win against Luxembourg in a match valid for the "Elite" phase of the European Championship.
