French striker Maëlle Garbino is officially a Juventus player from 1 July 2023, having signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2025.
The 26-year-old was the third highest-scorer in the French top division this past season, her left foot the source of several goals for Bordeaux in recent years. Now she takes her scoring boots over the border to Italy, ready to showcase her scoring talent in the black and white Juventus Women shirt.
Born in Vienne, France, on August 9, 1996, Garbino grew up in the youth sector of Lyon, the team with whom she made her debut in the French top-flight. With Lyon she won two league titles and two French Cups before moving to Seint-Étienne in 2016. Two years later, in 2018, she earned a transfer to Bordeaux, becoming a pillar of the team while catching the eye of numerous teams in Europe, including Juventus, her new home.
