Coach Massimiliano Allegri, Adrien Rabiot and Hans Nicolussi Caviglia comment after Juventus' 1-1 draw with Inter Milan at the Allianz Stadium.

"We put in a good performance: it wasn't easy, it had been three years since Juventus had played such an important match with first place in the standings at stake, so it wasn't easy for the whole group - including me, it had been four-and-a-half years since I was on the bench for a game like this. On Friday we go to Monza, a team that took six points from us last season and against whom we didn't score, so it will be a complicated match. We conceded a goal that could have been avoided, five minutes after taking the lead. We could have done better in that situation, but when Inter have an open pitch - as they also demonstrated in the derby - they have great technique and in space they find it easy to play. We had worked on that type of ball, but Lautaro was good. The objective is to conquer one of the top four places in the table, with this draw we maintain the nine-point margin over fifth place. Inter were waiting for our mistake and we showed ourselves to be mature Vlahovic played one of his best games since arriving at Juventus, on a technical level, regardless of the goal. He managed to impose himself, I'm very happy and even though he hadn't scored for two months, he always gives everything. On a psychological level, staying two points behind Inter is a good achievement, it gives us a different awareness."
ADRIEN RABIOT
"It's a good result, obviously we wanted to win, but we played against a difficult team to face. We are almost halfway through the championship and therefore it is not yet a decisive challenge. On the goal we conceded, we came out under a little too much pressure and Inter managed to stream forward quickly: we know that they are strong in attack, but ours is a good point. Dusan's goal is important to give him confidence, he is a great player and we need his contribution: Vlahovic and Chiesa have an excellent feeling on the pitch and I am happy with their performance. I always try to motivate myself in every situation, both when we score and when I miss a pass. We are champions, we know it, but mistakes can happen. In the second half the match remained very even, we didn't have many great opportunities: now let's think about doing better from the next match."
HANS NICOLUSSI CAVIGLIA
"Today I discovered that I was starting, but I worked hard to live these moments and I was ready: it was a challenge that I faced with my characteristics. Coach Allegri asked me to work in the non-possession phase to block Inter's two strikers and when we had the ball to look for space to free myself, even if I managed to touch fewer balls than expected. Andrea Barzagli was an example for me in practice, watching the way he trained is a special experience: now in the group we have Danilo, Rabiot, but in general everyone has a great attitude and an excellent approach. In terms of technical characteristics, I can play various roles: today I played as a playmaker in a three-man midfield, but I can play as a midfielder or possibly in a two-man midfield. I wasn't able to have the opportunity to kick on goal, which is one of the strong points of my game: I hope to be able to showcase these qualities in the next matches too."
