COACH ALLEGRI'S POST-MATCH COMMENTS
“It was a good game and we wanted to get a win again. It was a win that the boys really wanted. We didn’t give anything away in the first half, but we were just missing something in attack with the final pass. We did better in the second half, ran towards goal more, attacked their defence more, and we worked well defensively too. We have to take confidence from this win, and we still have the return leg of this semi-final in Rome which won’t be easy.”
DUSAN VLAHOVIC'S COMMENTS
“It was a tough game, but it’s only the first leg because we still have to go to Rome. For now we’ll file this win away. We played against a strong team, it wasn’t easy but we gave everything. What matters most to me is that the team won, it’s not important who scores or assists. I have to congratulate everybody and thank the fans for supporting us. We have to continue like this, and now we’re thinking about the league.”
