A 2-0 win, with goals from both new signings Dušan Vlahović and Denis Zakaria. Juventus got off to the perfect start in February, winning three important points at the Allianz Stadium. Coach Allegri, Dušan Vlahović and Alvaro Morata commented on Sunday night’s success against Verona.

“The match was tough, against a team that runs a lot. We approached it well, everyone's willingness was evident. I'm happy with the performance, but we have to remain calm and serene because the road is long and today it was important to win, because it would have been a shame not to exploit this enthusiasm. I want to congratulate Verona because they played a good game and it was a fundamental desire to sacrifice everyone, especially the three in front. I'm really happy with the performance of all the boys, now let's focus on the next matches. Thursday is the Italian Cup, then we'll go to Bergamo for an important match in the league.”

“It was very important to win this match, after the break it is always difficult, especially from a mental point of view. We had the right approach and managed to do the most important thing: win.
