Juventus Women will look to end their season on a high as they travel to Fiorentina for their penultimate league fixture of the campaign.
Ahead of the 14:30 CEST kick-off at the Artemio Franchi, a few pre-match stats and facts to get you in the mood:
STRONG SHOWING | Fiorentina is the only team against which Juventus can boast 10 victories in the top-flight, with one draw and one loss making up the balance. Including all competitions, the Bianconere have won 12 of their last 13 matches against the Viola, keeping nine clean sheets.
HOME DISCOMFORT | Fiorentina have lost four of their five Serie A home games against Juventus (W1), with an aggregate score of 11-3.
SCORERS APLENTY | Juventus have 17 different players register their names on the scoresheet in Serie A this season, at least three more scorers than any other team in the competition. Considering the Top Five European leagues, only Barcelona (20) and Lyon (18) have more.
ON THE BRINK | A goal for either Cristiana Girelli and Barbara Bonansea on Sunday will see them join Lana Clelland (nine) for the most Serie A goals scored against Fiorentina. In the comeback victory on 16 April, Girelli both scored and assisted against the Viola to help secure the 4-3 win.
MIDFIELD MEETING | Three of the five midfielders who have participated in the most goals in Serie A this season meet in this match: for Juve, Arianna Caruso (15 – five goals and 10 assists) and Julia Grosso (10 – three goals and seven assists), for Fiorentina, Vero Boquete (10 – seven goals and three assists). Inter’s Ghoutia Karchouni (14) and Roma’s Andressa Alves da Silva (13) complete the top five.
