The special guest for this afternoon's episode on our official Twitch channel was Head of Women's Football, Stefano Braghin, who covered many topics in the live broadcast, from the emotional rollercoaster against Fiorentina at the weekend, to Chiara Beccari's contract renewal and the potential of the striker currently at Como, up to the season's run-in.

Braghin opened with his opinion on the amazing comeback against the Viola on Sunday 16 April.

“We shouldn't have found ourselves in that situation, trailing by three goals. We played one of the worst first halves in our history, but the reaction was admirable. However, in the opening half I saw that the team didn't have a positive attitude, an aspect I didn't like."

The Director continued his analysis of the match against Fiorentina.

"I'm happy with the players’ reaction because it allows us to go to Rome with the chance of opening up the title race. That said, winning next Saturday is going to be very difficult because it won't just depend on us. However, there were many aspects that didn't satisfy me and tomorrow [Tuesday], we'll talk about it when I meet the girls. There have been some not-too-happy Tuesdays, but fortunately very few over these years. But let’s not take anything away from Fiorentina and we can only congratulate them on their performance."

THE END OF SEASON RUN-IN

“This league title is already 90% Roma’s. Even if we put together a string of victories, it might still not be enough. This championship is very much directed towards a Roma success, but it does not mean that we won't do everything in our powers to prevent this from happening. We will continue to give our all until the end. We owe it to the club and to all the people who work for us every day with enthusiasm and passion. This group has already written chapter after chapter of incredible history since 2017. This is Juventus."

A NEW HOME

“The Vinovo facility will not meet some of the requirements requested by the Federation as of next season, consequently we will make our assessment for a suitable new venue. We at the moment as Juventus have another stadium we rely on, the "Giuseppe Moccagatta" stadium in Alessandria, where the Next Gen play their home games. In this case, the two teams' respective fixture lists would have to be adapted, which would not be a simple task. In the meantime, another opportunity has emerged, which is to play in Biella. We don't know what the stadium is like, but we will certainly look into it. It’s not easy to leave Turin, but there are no alternatives. At Continassa the fields at the JTC are not approved for official competition, while the Allianz Stadium could be our home again if we make it to the group stage of the Women's Champions League. The first thought will be to penalise as little as possible our fans, who are fundamental to us."

BECCARI, THE FUTURE OF JUVENTUS

“[Chiara] Beccari is the best striker Italy has at the moment, together with Cristiana [Girelli]. It was essential to give her the opportunity to sign her first professional contract. Chiara has deserved it and she will be the future of Juventus. She, along with [Elisa] Pfattner and [Eva] Schatzer and all the other young girls, is already living the history of this great club 360°. Juve 2.0 is already here. The project continues to grow and is based on our principles of education and sacrifice. At Juventus you have everything, the values and the know-how. I appreciate everything I find here and every morning when I walk through the gates of Vinovo I feel I have to deserve everything that is made available to me."

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUALIFICATION

“The Champions League is essential for a club like Juventus. It allows us to have income and visibility, a lot of visibility. It is also a fantastic stage for the players to let their talent shine."

JULIA GROSSO

“Julia Grosso has a deal that runs until 2024 and at the moment there is no objective risk of losing her before her contract expires. We will try to sit down and discuss a possible extension. She clearly has stirred a lot of interest, especially in the United States, but we strongly intend to have her with us next season, with the hope of continuing our journey together for a long time.”

To conclude, Braghin left this message, which doesn't need much in the way of a presentation.

"Thank you for following us, for giving us a hand and also for telling us where we are going wrong. No matter how it goes, fino alla fine."

As always, we haven't told you everything that was said. Click below for the full interview with Stefano Braghin.
