Juventus fans were able to enjoy an extra special live stream on our Twitch channel today, with new signing Timothy Weah chatting to supporters after recently completing his move to Turin and getting to work at Continassa before heading to the United States as part of the summer tour.

Delighted to join Juventus

"It's a blessing to play for such a beautiful club," Weah said, speaking to the fans on Twitch. "Now I just have to adapt and do what I can do.

"A few months before getting the call from Juve I was playing football on my video game console, and my player was on Juventus. Then when I was told that Juve were coming to watch me and I played really well - it was something in the air that day. Once they were interested I knew I was gonna do whatever it took to get here."

Feeling the fans' love

The fans have already made a big impression on Tim, and he's extremely appreciative of their support so far.

"They're amazing. From the first day here I felt the love and I didn't expect so many supporters to come and see me for my medical.

"The passion they showed me in the comments was beautiful so I can't wait to see the Stadium, I already know how it's going to be. I just know it's going to be loud and I can't wait to meet everyone."

Tim, Timmy, Timo or Timmo?

Weah has had a number of nicknames through the years, but out of Tim, Timo, Timmo, Timmy or Weah, one has stuck more than the rest.

"It really doesn't matter [what people call me]. I got used to everybody calling me Timmo. My mom did it first and then I went to Celtic and it became a huge thing there, so I let everybody call me that. But I'm cool with whatever."

Settling in well

It's still early, but Timmo is already finding his feet at Juve and he's had a lot of help from some teammates, also making it clear that he is keen to learn Italian and more about the culture in Turin and Italy, beyond the love for pasta that he already has.

"Weston McKennie is my guy. He's crazy. But I realised that all the staff and players here are extremely nice so I felt welcome from the first day.

"Having Weston here helps because he speaks English and that's my guy with the national team. But the guys like Moise [Kean] and the French guys make it easier.

"If I have to pick a favourite teammate already it's Weston because I've known him for years and we have super close relationship, but also Moise and Federico Gatti. I like Fede, he's very genuine and I play right beside him. He's always willing to help me and when you move to a new club it's always a beautiful thing to have that in a teammate."

Linking up with Loca

Despite not having been around for long, Timmo is already working up a connection with Manuel Locatelli on the training field.

"My first Juve goal is definitely gonna be from a ball over the top from Loca. He's always pinging me in behind so I already know that I'm gonna make that run and he's gonna play me. He just has that Italian class on the ball."
