Born in Siracusa on 22 November 2000, Aprile joined Juve in the summer of 2021 after spending two seasons at Inter. Growing up in Sicily, Aprile initially started out playing futsal on the island, before making the switch to 11-a-side football in the summer of 2015, when she joined Pink Sport Time Bari in Serie B. She was part of the Bari squad that clinched promotion back to Serie A in May 2017, while a Primavera Championship win followed in 2018.
