It was the turn of Next Gen to star on Twitch today. The special guest was the talent of Brambilla's side Nikola Sekulov, who began by recounting an unforgettable moment of his season...
AT SAN SIRO WITH THE FIRST TEAM
"That day, in the morning I trained with the Next Gen and I was told that I would have to do the first team's match preparation too. At the end of training Allegri told me that he was going to take me with the squad to San Siro. Right away I thought it was a joke, then I realised it wasn't - I was the happiest person alive. I didn't sleep much that night because I couldn't wait for the game to come around. I kept thinking about being at San Siro, in a Derby d'Italia, with the most beautiful shirt in the world. The team was so determined to win, it was wonderful to experience it with Pinsoglio and all the rest of the group, and then celebrate with the fans there... a unique emotion, because the team is fantastic, you are made welcome even if you are young, they make you are one of them, it's incredible."
FOOTBALL, A FAMILY MATTER
"Football is a passion that runs in the family. I started playing for Piacenza when I was four, all my relatives play football… I still have the ball I used to play with as a child, and now I'm here to enjoy every single moment. When Juve comes calling, you can't not accept, it's a club with the greatest ambitions and that's how I live too, trying to make the most of every moment. At Juve they make you grow on a personal level because here the important thing is being responsible."
DREAMS AND GOALS
"On a personal level, my dream is to make my debut with this incredible shirt in the first team, without a doubt, but in any case for me it is important to live every single moment and every single match. I believe that everything comes with the right mentality and the right mind. Next Gen is a fundamental project for our growth, there is too much difference from the Primavera to the first team. However, the path we take gives us the possibility of playing against adults and you are in a professional environment. At a team level we'd love to win the Coppa Italia next week in Vicenza. Then of course we want to get to the play-offs, we're just one point outside the zone. We are already thinking ahead to Thursday, it will be a decisive match, there are only a few games left so we must be charged up."
